Gautam Gambhir and KKR

For the unversed, Gambhir has led Kolkata Knight Riders to two IPL titles in the years 2012 and 2014. Under his leadership, KKR also qualified 5 times for the Indian Premier League’s playoffs and 1 time in the finals of the Champions League T20.

However, ever since Gambhir became part of Lucknow Super Giants, Kolkata Knight Riders’ performance in IPL significantly worsened as they failed to make it to the playoffs and finished in 7th position in both the 2022 and 2023 editions of IPL.

Now with Gambhir’s return to the team, it will be interesting to see if KKR’s performance improves in the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
