Hardik Pandya, Virat Kohli groove to social media trend before series opener against Australia

New Delhi: Every cricket fan knows about Hardik Pandya’s love for trends and social media. This time, he teamed up with Virat Kohli to show some dance moves on a trending song. Indian all-rounder shared a video on Twitter, in which he can be seen dancing with former captain Kohli.

Men in blue never fail to entertain their fans. Hardik Pandya and Virat Kohli were dancing to the remix version of the 1999 song ‘Se Acabo’ by The Beatnuts. The song went viral on Tik Tok and social media, and now the Indian cricketers shook a leg on it. In the video, both of them can be seen wearing sunglasses as they do a simple but fun step on the song.

Sharing the video, Hardik Pandya wrote, “You know how we do @imVkohli.” They were making this video in a room, which seems to be at the stadium. Their fans went gaga over the dance and poured in love for the two. 

An interesting thing about this trending song is that it got popular as ‘shaka boom’, while the actual lyrics say ‘Se Acabo’, which means “it’s over.” Many people have followed the trend and shared fun dance videos on the internet.

Meanwhile, the players will feature in the three-match T20I series against Australia starting from September 20 in Mohali. The second T20I will be played in Nagpur on September 23, followed by the last game in Hyderabad on September 25. Looking back at their recent form, Hardik Pandya scored 50 runs and picked four wickets in the three games in the Asia Cup 2022, including the match-winning 33*(17) and 25/3 against Pakistan. Virat Kohli was the second highest run-scorer in the tournament with 276 runs in five innings including his 71st century against Afghanistan.
