New Delhi: The T20 World Cup is all set to be shifted to UAE owing to the safety concerns posed by COVID-19, BCCI President Sourav Ganguly said on Monday.

“We have officially intimated the ICC that the T20 World Cup can be shifted to the United Arab Emirates. The details are being chalked out,” Ganguly said.

Earlier, the mega sporting event was scheduled to be held in India in October-November.

The second part of Indian Premiere League (IPL) is also being held in the UAE in September-October.
