World Cup 2023: Kohli’s big knocks & dancing on SRK & wife Anushka’s song enthralled audience (WATCH VIDEO)

He was seen dancing on Jawan’s hit song during the 6th over of second innings.

New Delhi: Virat Kohli is one of the greatest cricketers ever to play cricket, and he proved that once again on Sunday when he equalled the great Sachin Tendulkar’s all-time ODI centuries record of 49 centuries, with his brilliant 101 not-out innings against South Africa.

Virat is also one of the most proactive cricketers on the field as he is always seen running towards the ball, exchanging words with teammates ore opposition, and when he is not doing any of that, he engages with the crowd and keeps them entertained with his unique antiques in the field.

One such antique is his dancing in between the overs on the songs that are being played in the stadium. One such dance video of Kohli in the match against South Africa is going viral on the internet.

Virat Kohli, in the video, can be seen grooving to the famous ‘Chaleya’ song from Shahrukh Khan’s blockbuster Jawan, during the overbreak after the 5th during South Africa’s chase.

A little more dancing

Chaleya was not the only song Virat was seen dancing to, during the match against South Africa on Sunday, as after some time, he was also seen dancing to his wife Anushka Sharma’s song, ‘Ainvayi’ from the movie Band Baaja Barati.

Equaling Sachin’s record

Virat Kohli started the ICC World Cup 2023, with 47 centuries in his account and the moment he scored his 48th ODI ton against Bangladesh, the whole world started to wait for just one thing, i.e., Virat Kohli’s 49th ODI ton.

Virat came close to it a couple of times but got himself out at 95 against New Zealand and on 88 against Sri Lanka.

However, the birthday boy was not letting it go against the Proteas on Sunday as he played brilliantly on the two-paced wicket of Eden Gardens and mixed aggression and elegance just the right amount to score not-out 101 and complete his 49th ODI century.

The great Sachin Tendulkar himself posted a message congratulating Virat Kohli after his historic 49th ton on X (Formerly known as Twitter). He also wished him luck to get his 50th ODI ton as soon as possible.

Strange reaction from Sri Lankan skipper

The Sri Lankan skipper Kusal Mendis, during a press conference on Sunday evening before his match against Bangladesh on Monday, was asked by a journalist if he would like to congratulate Kohli for his 49th ODI ton, to which the skipper replied, “Why would I congratulate him?”
