New Delhi: India-Pakistan is always a high voltage clash. Both teams are facing each other for the first time after their match in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. While fans are pouring their comments on the game on social media, there are former cricketers and experts who have a lot to say.

Ahead of the game on August 28, both the captains addressed the press. Indian Captain Rohit Sharma said that the team is okay with making mistakes but he sees it as a stage to experiment. He made it clear that the ultimate goal is the T20 World Cup in Australia. Meanwhile, Babar Azam said that the side is confident and the win in the last encounter won’t impact the upcoming game, so they would not talk big.

Former Australian cricketer Shane Watson, while making predictions for the India-Pakistan clash said, “I think, really, whoever wins that game is going to go on and win the Asia Cup.” He added that he has a feeling that India will win the game. Both the teams have suffered blows due to injuries. Jasprit Bumrah and Harshal Patel for India while Shaheen Shah Afridi and Mohammad Wasim for Pakistan have been ruled out. Earlier, Irfan Pathan tweeted saying, “It’s a relief of other teams that Bumrah and Harshal aren’t playing this Asia cup!” Irfan’s tweet was a reply to Waqar Younis, who wrote, “Shaheen’s injury Big relief for the Indian top order batsmen. Sad we won’t be seeing him in #AsiaCup2022 Get fit soon Champ @iShaheenAfridi.”
