Rohit Sharma scored 72 off 41 to lay a partnership with Suryakumar Yadav after India started 13/2. Dilshan Madushanka brings back hope in the Sri Lankan pace attack as he used some seam movement to end up with the figures of 24/3. Chamika Karunarathne and Shanaka took two wickets each.
A 97-run stand for the Sri Lankan openers to start off the chase. Chahal gave hope by striking twice in an over. Ashwin bowled well to end up with 32/1.
