Indian cricket team enjoys outing in Tobago, pictures, videos go viral

The team took a bizarre yet fun ride on a mini-truck where the players, wearing their casuals, were having a blast.

New Delhi: As the ODI series is already won by the Indian team, Indian cricketers were having a fun outing in Tobago. The team took a bizarre yet fun ride on a mini-truck where the players, wearing their casuals, were having a blast. After winning both the thrilling ODIs against West Indies, the players looked happy ahead of the third match.

A video of the players enjoying their time went viral on social media. While others were sitting in the vehicle, Indian star spinner, Yuzvendra Chahal was seen laying down on his back.

The players were also seen enjoying their time at a beach. they were also joined by Charulatha Samson and Devisha Shetty, wives of Sanju Samson and Suryakumar Yadav respectively. The photos and videos were shared by Devisha on her Instagram handle.

In the 2nd ODI, West Indies posted a huge total of 311 as Shai Hope hit a century and captain Nicholas Pooran contributed 74(77). Shardul Thakur took 3 wickets while Axar Patel, Deepak Hooda and Yuzvendra Chahal took one each. In the second inning, India lost the first three wickets for 79 when Shreyas Iyer and Sanju Samson posted a partnership of 99 runs. Iyer scored 63(71) while Samson went on to hit 54 off 51.

As more wickets fell and the equation went out of control for India, Axar Patel stood up and scored a quick 64* off just 35 balls. His inning featured 3 fours and 5 sixes. India won the game with just 2 balls left and Patel was named the ‘Player of the Match’ for his heroics.

As India leads the series 2-0, the last ODI will be played in Port of Spain on July 27.
