Although the image might arise controversies, however, the rule is accepted by ICC as a beneficiary of a parental policy.

Netizens have loved the photograph and flooded praise for Bismah Maroof and her strength and determination and her excellent balance between professional and personal life. Here are some of the reactions:

Earlier, in an interview, Bismah Maroof stated, “A child needs the mother. If I had to continue my career, the question would have been – where would my kid go? And if I’m on the field, who will take care of the kid? Hiring a nanny and taking her along everywhere is expensive, and as women cricketers, we don’t earn as much to afford such luxuries. Our contracts help us survive and make a living, but without a parental policy, it would’ve become difficult to continue playing with a child around.”

Meanwhile, India won the toss and opted to bat first against the arch-rivals Pakistan. India scores a decent run with a competitive total of 244 for 7 with half-centuries from Smriti Mandhana (52), Pooja Vastrakar (67), and Sneh Rana (53*). The second innings with Pakistan batting is going on at present with Sidra Nawaz falling for 12.
