New Delhi: Virat Kohli is back to form. After smashing a half-century for the first time in IPL 2020, Kohli is shining bright with his fans and his wife. Royal Challengers Bangalore is facing Gujarat Tigers in Mumbai’s Brabourne Stadium on April 30.
Kohli was having a tough time with the bat recently. The former RCB skipper was knocked out to back-to-back golden ducks and managed to score only 9 runs in the last three matches. His fans always kept on supporting him and were patiently waiting for the ‘G.O.A.T’ to come to form soon. He finally does it and brings up his half-century off 45 deliveries.
Kohli slammed six boundaries and one six in his 53-ball 58 as RCB revived after the early loss of skipper Faf du Plessis for a three-ball duck. Virat Kohli’s first fifty-plus score helped the team to reach 170/6 in 20 overs.
Kohli’s comeback was not only breath-taking for his fans but also his wife Anushka Sharma. The actress cheered her lungs out for her husband who stood at the stand and soon her picture went viral on social media with the hashtag Anushka trending on the micro-blogging site.
She was seen cheering the loudest after he hit a full toss. He went straight with the bat and managed a clear leaping long-on. Although he looked worried for a moment he breathes a sigh of relief upon seeing the ball sail over the fielder.
