IPL Auction 2023 Updates: Sam Curran goes for highest-ever price of Rs 18.50 Cr, followed by Cameron Green

Sam Curran played well and became the Player of the Tournament in the T20 World Cup which led to a big bid in IPL.

New Delhi:  The 16th IPL auction ends in Kochi. English batter Harry Brook has been sold for Rs 13.25 crore to SRH while Sam Curran broke the record to go for 18.50 crore to Punjab Kings. Sam Curran played well and became the Player of the Tournament in the T20 World Cup which led to a big bid in IPL. Cameron Green went for Rs 17.50 crore, while Ben Stokes and Nicholas Pooran were sold for Rs 16.25 crore and Rs 16 crore respectively.

The auction will begin in Kochi on December 23 at 2:30 pm. You may view the auction on the Star Sports Network and it will be streaming on Jio Cinema for OTT viewers.
