‘Jindagi Jandwa, phir bhi Ghamandwa’: Pak’s Javed Miandad faces fury of netizens for anti-India remarks

Unsparing in their criticism, many fans questioned his relevance in today’s times while others poked fun at him for alleged connection to underworld don Dawood Ibrahim.

New Delhi: While the debate continues over Pakistan being the likely host of next Asia Cricket Cup, strong opposition by powerful & cash-rich Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has left the Pak organizers frustrated & incensed.

Though, any official announcement is yet to be made, India’s clamoring for a venue in Saudi Arabia or UAE has hit the raw nerve of Pakistan. As expected, its former players are speaking foul mouth against Team India.

The latest Pakistani to attack India and BCCI is former Pak bowling legend Javed Miandad, who made insulting remarks against India.

“India can go to hell, if they don’t want to come to Pakistan for Asia Cup tournament,” he told reporters.

“Maine toh pehle bhi kaha tha agar nahi aana to bhaad mein jaaye. Humein koi farak nahi padta. Yeh ICC ka kaam hai. Agar yeh cheez ICC control nahi kar sakti toh phir governing body ka, ICC ka koi kaam nahi hai. Saari country ke liye rule ek hona chahiye. Agar aisi teamein nahi aati, chahe jitni bhi strong ho. Koi theka nahi liya hua. India hoga, apne liye hoga, humare liye ya duniya ke liye nahi hai, Pakistan ke liye nahi hai. Aao khelo, khelte kyun nahi? Bhaagte hain,” Miandad said in conversation with newsmen.

The next Asia Cup, due in September 2023, is creating a lot of heartburn for Pakistan as it is slated to host this tournament but with BCCI digging its heels against sending players to terror-hit country has left many Pakistani angered & flustered.

Recently, PCB chief Najam Sethi had threatened to pull out of upcoming ODI World Cup to be held in India.
