New Delhi: India won the toss and opted to bat against New Zealand in the first Test of the two-match series here at the Green Park Stadium on Thursday. During the match, slogans of ‘Pakistan Murdabad’ were heard from the spectators at Green Park.
This is the first test match is being played in Kanpur since the year 2016 and the Indian crowd present on the ground tried to motivate the Indian team with slogans like “Jeetega bhai Jeetega, India jeetega”. During this motivation process, one fan went on to scream “Pakistan Murdabad” while the other followed him with “Murdabad Murdabad”.
Fans were also heard chanting “Vande Mataram” and “Bharat Mata ki jai” to motivate the Team with patriotism.
