New Delhi: Chennai Super Kings player and former India captain MS Dhoni is relishing some off time from cricket after the recently concluded Indian Premiere League (IPL) 2022.
For past some days, the cricket legend is often seen enjoying small trips with family and friends, apart from participating in random get-togethers and celebrations on various occasions.
Dhoni can be seen visiting JSCA stadium every now and then to meet with newbie cricket players from Ranchi.
Meanwhile, Dhoni is reportedly suffering from a niggle in his left knee, and Captain Cool has turned to a desi doctor for relief.
According to a report by news agency IANS, the 41-year-old is making frequent visits to a small town near Ranchi to get doses for the treatment from a ‘vaidya’ who sits under a tree.
The physician who Dhoni is visiting for a cure to his knee pain is known as Vaidya Bandhan Singh Kharwar, who has been treating the locals for last 3 decades, and reportedly use the extract of wild plants to treat his patients.

Interestingly, MS Dhoni was charged a mere amount of Rs 40 for his doses by Kharwar.
“I charge him ₹ 20 as consultation fees and prescribe him medicines worth ₹ 20. I couldn’t recognize Dhoni when he came to see me, I have treated Dhoni’s parents as well”, Kharwar told news daily NDTV.
