MS Dhoni spotted with Bhagwad Gita, ahead of proposed knee injury

The captain cool being spotted with the holy scripture grabbed many eyeballs and also evoked many reactions from fans & people on social media, as the cricketer is all set to undergo a surgery for his knee injury.

New Delhi: Mahendra Singh Dhoni (MSD), the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper who guided the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchisee to its record fifth IPL title was spotted with Bhagwad Gita in his hand on Thursday.
Dhoni was clicked by photographers with Bhagwad Gita in Mumbai.

The captain cool being spotted with the holy scripture grabbed many eyeballs and also evoked many reactions from fans & people on social media, as the cricketer is all set to undergo a surgery for his knee injury. Lot many concerned fans extended their greetings & wishes to the cricketing legend, while he prepares for knee surgery.


Reports suggest that the cricketer has already been admitted in a Mumbai hospital and is taking medical advice regarding his injured knee.

While Dhoni & his team took victory lap in the stadium after lifting the IPL trophy for record 5th time, cameras showed India’s most successful captain grappling with his movement. In fact, MSD kept nursing the injury throughout the IPL season and was often seen with knee cap during the practice sessions.

The knee injury didn’t prevent him from playing all the CSK games with equal gusto & agility as earlier. The CSK cricketer kept audience captivated with his lusty blows and stellar wicket keeping skills.

The 41-year-old cricketer though got dismissed for a golden duck in the IPL final but he won all the attention & praise, when he stump Orange cap winner Shubman Gill, in a reaction time of as quick as 0.1 seconds.

A day ago, the CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan told pressmen that Dhoni will be seeking medical advice for his left knee injury and might also go for surgery. He informed that MSD will meet Dr Pardiwala, who is treating Rishabh Pant as well and hopefully will recover for the next season.

Remember that the Thala hasn’t announced retirement from IPL yet, rather he dropped enough hints of returning to field next year.
