New Delhi: After the 2nd T20I game between India and England ended at Edgbaston, India’s former skipper MS Dhoni was seen interacting with a few players and staff members. Team India is currently having a dream run under their new captain Rohit Sharma as the team has won 14 T20I games consecutively. By defeating England in the second T20, the Indian side has clinched the series and is leading 2-0.

MS Dhoni was seen interacting with Indian youngster Ishan Kishan. Dhoni’s guidance has helped Kishan in past too. Both Dhoni and Kishan have quite some similarities as both play the role of wicketkeeper-batsman for the Indian team, and both of them are from Jharkhand and have captained their domestic side in tournaments like Ranji Trophy.

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared the pictures from the dressing room where MS Dhoni was seen interacting with Ishan Kishan and staff members. While sharing the pictures, BCCI wrote, “Always all ears when the great @msdhoni talks!”

The pictures shared by the board went viral on social media. The player’s IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings also shared the photos and wrote, “Keeping’ in touch with the Youngbloods.”

After the win, where Rishabh Pant opened the batting and contributed 26 runs off 15 balls, the player shared a picture with his mentor MS Dhoni.

Earlier this week, MS Dhoni also visited Wimbledon to watch the quarterfinal between Rafael Nadal and Taylor Fritz. Fans are excited to see him around sports, even after retiring from international cricket.

In the game, India got a good start with Rohit Sharma and Rishabh Pant scoring at almost 10.50 runs per over. After Rohit was dismissed for 31(20), the middle order saw a collapse. It was Ravindra Jadeja who finished the inning for India and helped them reach a total of 170. Jadeja scored 46 runs off 29 balls, hitting at a strike rate of 158.62. Chris Jordan and debutant Richard Gleeson were England’s heroes with the ball. Jordan took 4 wickets for 27 runs while Gleeson dismissed Rohit, Kohli and Pant, and ended up with figures of 4-1-15-3.
