New Delhi: Paris is all set and decked up to host the Olympics in 2024. The French capital is getting ready to brace itself for non-stop action for the next 17 days. Athletes from over 200 countries are set to take part in 329 events across 32 sporting disciplines. The 33rd edition of the quadrennial multi-sport extravaganza will see the debut of 4 more sports in addition to 28 traditional sports already scheduled to take place.
These 4 sports are- breaking, skateboarding, surfing and sports climbing. Although the official announcement of the games starts today, the Football and Rugby Sevens events started proceedings on the 24th itself.
