New Delhi: Mumbai Indians is celebrating 10 years of Rohit Sharma taking over as the captain of the franchise in IPL. Under Rohit, MI has won five IPL titles, and the batter was seen posing with all five trophies in a photoshoot. MI shared a video in which he can be seen in the stadium posing with the trophies while he wore a T-shirt with five stars on the collar.
In the video, Rohit can be seen walking down the stairs and posing in the stands, before laying down on the ground to pose with the trophies. The song used in the background has been composed by left-arm flicker and rapper Naresh Medtiya, who is often seen as a thrower in the nets for MI.

MI also shared an animation clip in which the batter can be seen chosen as the captain of the team and he sits and adds trophies to his cabinet.
Rohit has been the most successful skipper in IPL in terms of winning the tournament. He won the IPL trophies in 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2020 seasons and has also won the Champions League T20 once.

Rohit Sharma will celebrate his 36th birthday on April 30 and Mumbai Indians are ready to celebrate a day ahead. Along with him, MI is celebrating Dewald Brevis’ birthday today.
Sharma has scored 181 runs in seven games this season, including a fifty against Delhi Capitals. However, MI has not been up to the mark in IPL 2023 as they sit in the eighth position in the points table with three wins out of seven games. MI will next face RR on April 30 as their skipper celebrates his special day.
