New Delhi: Fireband cricketer of India Shikhar Dhawan has grabbed the headlines in the media for making his Bollywood debut, according to the reports. The preliminary information suggests Dhawan will be playing a title role in a full-length movie instead of a cameo.
If we believe in the reports, the cricketer has completed the shooting for the movie whose details are being kept under wraps. The makers of the film are now planning to release it sometime this year.
Famous for the Bollywood breaking, Pinkvilla wrote quoting a source, ”Shikhar always had huge respect for actors, and when he was offered this part he was happy to come aboard. The makers felt that Shikhar suits the character and reached out to him a few months back. It will be a proper full-length role and is not going to be a cameo. His part is pivotal to the film, which is expected to release sometime this year.”
However, we all have to wait for the release of the movie to watch the star cricketer’s acting skills. But, there is a video available on Shikhar Dhawan’s official Instagram account, where we can watch Dhawan’s acting skills.
In the video, Dhawan speaks the famous dialogues of Allu Arjun’s film ‘Pushpa’, ”main Jhukega nahi”. He looked amazing wearing a cowboy hat and also copied the dialogue very well with his facial expression.
So far, the video has received over 40 lakh likes.
