Shubman Gill welcomed to double centurions’ club, Rohit Sharma pulls Ishan Kishan’s leg in hilarious chat (WATCH)

Rohit Sharma, three times double ton scorer and Ishan Kishan, who hit a double century recently were there with Gill to discuss his special inning.

New Delhi: Shubman Gill entered the elite club of ODI double centurions and BCCI came up with an interesting chat between three members of the club. Rohit Sharma, three times double ton scorer and Ishan Kishan, who hit a double century recently were there with Gill to discuss his special inning. BCCI shared the interview from Hyderabad on their BCCI TV.

Talking about his knock Gill said that he was looking to go big against Sri Lanka but it did not happen so he tried to convert this time after he got a good start. Rohit appreciated his inning and said that wickets were falling on the other end and the next best score was 34, so it is not easy to bat in that fashion in a tough situation.

Rohit asked Gill about his thinking process to which he said that he wanted to put pressure on the bowlers and did not let them have the upper hand. While Shubman started talking about a partnership with Ishan, Rohit interrupted and joked, “Why is he even here, it is your interview Gill?” When Ishan asked Gill about his pre-match routine, Rohit asked Ishan to answer the question himself as he was with Gill before the game.

Talking about the pre-match routine Shubman said that Kishan does not let him sleep and watches films at full volume and the pre-match routine is just fighting with Ishan. Rohit ended the interview with a joke on Ishan Kishan about missing three games even after hitting 200, to which he replied saying, “You are the captain…”
