Sreesanth discloses what Gambhir kept telling him, ‘F**k off fixer’; latter too shares ‘cryptic post’

The seamer further specified that he chose to ‘reveal’ details of dirty altercation because he was being pursued by various media outlets & agencies.

New Delhi: A day after the ugly verbal duel on the field during Legends League Cricket match, S Sreesanth took to Instagram LIVE and disclosed what Gautam Gambhir kept telling him during the exchange.

Hours ago, former India pacer took to social media and made slew of accusations against Mr Fighter. Sreesanth said that Gambhir called him ‘something very rude’ which he shouldn’t have, during the angry exchange at a Legends League match between Gujarat Giants and India Capitals.

The heated exchange between Gambhir and Sreesanth took place during an LLC qualifier match and was set to snowball further but the umpires intervened and cooled down the tempers.

Sreesanth took to his Instagram LIVE and shared an emotional video against his ‘name-calling’ by the cricketer-turned politician.

“Fixer, fixer, you’re a fixer… you f**k off, fixer. He kept saying that,” Sreesanth said in his Instagram live video on Thursday.

“He kept on calling me that, on live television on the centre of the wicket. This is the language he used on live TV. He also told the same thing in front of umpires as they tried to control him,” he further added.

The seamer further specified that he chose to ‘reveal’ details of dirty altercation because he was being pursued by various media outlets & agencies. He said that he wanted to clear the air, rather than spending on PR to defend his position. He also claimed that he was being approached by Gambhir’s PR.

In the video he said, “I wanted to do this live to clear the air. Yesterday I didn’t say what he called me. His PR has been calling me, he has the money and I am just a normal person.”

Gambhir’s cryptic post

Meanwhile, Gambhir, under fire for alleged diatribe against the former pacer, took to Twitter and shared a cryptic post.

His post doesn’t reveal much but hints that he stood his ground and didn’t offend anyone.

The angry exchange between the two happened in the second over of match, when Gambhir hit a boundary & a six on Sreesanth’s ball. Then, Sreesanth delivered a dot fall and this apparently set the stage for fierce flare-up between the duo.
