New Delhi: Clearing the road to the T20 World Cup final, Pakistan thrashed New Zealand by 7 wickets on Wednesday at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Chasing a target of 153 runs, Pakistani openers made a solid start in the opening game and scored the required total with 5 balls remaining.

With Pakistan storming into the finals, it has raised fresh hopes of a cricket-loving nation to win the trophy again. The team which wobbled in the Group Stage has made its way into the finals, a feat it achieved 13 years ago. It was in 2009 that Pakistan won the T20 World Cup Trophy.

Now, an opportunity to claim the World Cup title comes after 13 years and the Men in Green would be in no mood to lose this golden chance.

Though 2nd finalist is yet to be ascertained from the India Vs England match, fans have already started speculating about a possible India-Pakistan encounter in the T20 final. If that turns into a reality, nothing would be much bigger than that. The final face-off of the arch-rivals will keep both the nations but the whole cricket community riveted.
