The 41-year-old player from Switzerland has many performances & exploits in his more than a decade-long career, which makes his fans go gaga even today.

However, his latest image that has taken the internet by storm is his love for cows. Federer posing with his ‘favourite’ cow has taken the internet by storm and his fans are frantically sharing the photo.

A user claims that the cow has been named ‘Ganga’. Though Switzerland doesn’t have any national animal but a cow is the most commonly associated animal. That may be one of the reasons why Federer has a deep love for cows and is often seen posing in frames with them.

Was gifted cow after first Grand Slam victory

The tennis star was gifted a cow by the Swiss Open organizers after he won his first Wimbledon title in 2003. He was the first player from Switzerland to bring home the title.
In 2003, the cow that he received in gift was named Juliette, which later gave birth to Edelweiss.


In July 2013, he was gifted another cow which was named Desiree. The event was opening ceremony of Swiss Open in Gstaad.

Stayed world No 1 for 310 weeks

Being immensely successful player, he was ranked World Number 1 player and also retained that spot for long, 310 weeks and 237 consecutive weeks in particular. Year 2009 was one of his most successful years, when he won 4 titles.
