Tokyo Olympics: Ravi Dahiya assures India of at least a silver medal, sails into wrestling final

New Delhi: Ravi Dahiya has stormed into the 57kg freestyle final after defeating Kazakhstan’s Nurislam Sanaye.

He has become only the second Indian wrestler after Sushil Kumar to reach the final. Sushil had reached the final in London 2012.

Ravi Dahiya will take on two-time reigning World Champion Zavur Uguev in the gold medal bout (FS 57kg) on Thursday.

Ravi comes back sensationally to pin down Sanayev and wins the bout to find a place in the final.
