New Delhi: Asia Cup 2022 is set to begin on August 27 in Dubai. India will play its first match against Pakistan on August 28 in the country. For the tournament, Rohit Sharma has been appointed as the Captain. Ahead of the matches, Virat Kohli has created a buzz on the internet for sharing a post for MS Dhoni. Notably, the post came soon after he completed his 14 years of international cricket career.
In his post, Kohali said his career’s ”most enjoyable exciting period” was being MS Dhoni’s most ”trusted deputy”. Sharing a photo of hm self and Dhoni from back, Kholi wrote, ”Being
this man’s trusted deputy was the most enjoyable and exciting period in my career. Our partnerships would always be special to me forever. 7+18.”

The 33-year-old cricketer led the team India as MS Dhoni’s deputy before he replaced Dhoni in Test cricket in 2014 as skipper. In the year 2017, Kohli became the captain in all formats of cricket. However, Kohli is struggling for over 3 years to score his 71st century.
Under the captaincy of Dhoni, India won the ACC Asia Cup two times, in 2010 and 2016. The men in blue also won two ICC Test Championships in 2010 and 2011. In the IPL, Dhoni serves as captain for Chennai Super Kings.
