New Delhi: Days ahead of India’s crucial upcoming 5-match test series against England, star cricketing all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, accompanied by his wife Raviba, visited the temple of Mata Madh to offer his prayers and seek the blessing of goddess Ashapura on Friday

An adorable picture of his temple visit with wife Raviba has now gone viral on the internet and netizens are buzzing about the same.

In the viral photograph, both the veteran cricketer and his wife Rivaba can be seen standing in front of the goddess’ idol with folded hands and smiles on their faces. Besides the couple, the photograph also sees a priest from the temple looking at the camera.

Meanwhile, the cricketer has been already included by the selectors as a part of India’s squad for the initial two test matches against the Three Lions, scheduled to be played in Hyderabad and Vishakhapatnam between 25 January to 6 February.

Considering the spin-friendly conditions of Indian pitches, it is very likely that Jadeja will walk out in the field as part of the team’s playing 11 in the first test match. Besides Jadeja, the men in the blue team are also likely to have Ravichandran Ashwin and Axar Patel as part of their spin attack in the opening test match.

Speaking of Jadeja’s recent test performance, the left-arm Orthodox spinner was last seen in action during India vs South Africa’s second test match that was played in Cape Town’s Newlands cricket stadium.

However, during the game, the all-rounder failed to impress with the bat as he failed to score even a single run and was dismissed by Lungi Ngidi after facing just two deliveries. Additionally, Skipper Rohit also didn’t provide him a chance to bowl as the match ended in merely two days with India emerging victorious by a margin of 6 wickets.
