While Chahal shows Team India’ dining & massage area; Rohit’s dig at ‘future’ leaves netizens in splits

New Delhi: Yuzvendra Chahal, Team India’s leg-spinner gave an inside view of the Team India’s dressing room in Raipur on Friday, however, it’s his banter with skipper Rohit Sharma that is drawing attention of thousands & lakhs of cricket fans.

Taking his fans on a virtual tour of Team India’s dressing room, Chahal showed the dining & resting area where Men in Blue eat & take rest. He also showed the massage area where players loosen/unwind themselves in case of any strain. Here, he spotted skipper Rohit Sharma. However, before Chahal could update further, the skipper took a wily jibe at the former leaving everyone around in splits.

Chahal felt little embarrassed with Sharma’s comment on his ‘future’ but he took it sportingly and laughed it off. While Rohit Sharma stole the show with his quick comment/dig, the 32-year spinner was seen smiling.

In the video, Chahal says, “This is our massage table. Whenever someone needs back relief or any kind of treatment, then it is given on this table.”

To this, Rohit wittingly said, ‘Your future is bright’, prompting the latter to laugh. The duo shook hands after Rohit’s hilarious jibe.

Though, Chahal’s entire video, ahead of the ODI match between India & New Zealand got fans attention, it’s this portion of the clip that is hogging the limelight. The friendly banter between Sharma & Chahal has become the talking point.

It is pertinent to inform that Chahal was left out of the squad for the ODI series against New Zealand. He featured in just one ODI match against Sri Lanka. In that match, he picked up only 1 wicket.
