Women’s Hockey: India storm into semi-finals defeating Australia 1-0 in the Quarter final of Tokyo Olympics 2020.
Now, India will face Argentina in the semifinals. On the other hand, entry into the semifinals also means that Indian team will bring home a medal match for the first-time in Olympics.
Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Anurag Thakur congratulated the women’s hockey team. He tweets, “Women’s Hockey Team is scripting history with every move at Tokyo 2020 ! We’re into the semi-finals of the Olympics for the 1st time beating Australia.”
