The cricketer took to Twitter to say that he did not receive food on the flight and had to wait 24 hours for his luggage. He also said that they were made to change the flight during the journey.
Deepak Chahar, Shikhar Dhawan, Mohammed Siraj, Shardul Thakur, Washington Sundar and Shubman Gill were travelling to Dhaka after their ODI series in New Zealand. They had a flight from Christchurch to Dhaka via Kuala Lumpur when they had to go through the inconvenience.

India will kickstart their ODI series on December 4 with Rohit Sharma and senior players back into the squad. They will play three ODIs and two Test matches in Bangladesh and this will be an important tour keeping in mind the World Cup and the World Test Championship. Though India’s primary pacers Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Shami are missing due to injury, this will be a test for the youngsters.
Due to rain interruptions, Chahar got to bowl only five overs in ODIs against New Zealand, so the Bangladesh tour is an important one for him.
