New Delhi: The countdown for World Test Championship (WTC) final has begun and both competing teams India and Australia are gearing for the summit clash at London’s Oval stadium on June 7.
At first instance, Team India is set to have advantage over the Aussies as thrashed the latter by 2-1 in four-match series held in February this year.
Another high point is that India is playing its consecutive WTC final, however, the flip side is that it lost the grand finale to New Zealand by 8 wickets last time.
Team India, led by Rohit Sharma & Co will look to win the prestigious match and clinch the ICC trophy after almost a decade.

WTC Final, India Vs Aus: Pitch Report
While Team India and Australia head for summit clash on June 7, the pitch is fairly balanced for bowlers & batters, however, it may give an edge to the side with strong bowling attack.
The pitch looks to have a good bounce, giving spinners a good grip on bowling attack. Bowlers can prove to be instrumental here and batsmen may struggle to score big runs. Towards the end of five-day final, the pitch may favour pacers even more.
