New Delhi: On the Money in the Bank pay-per-view Big E made a winning debut in the Bank Ladder Match by climbing to the top of the ladder to retrieve the briefcase for guaranteed title opportunity.
Roman Reigns defeated Edge in the main event of the show to retain the Universal Championship. The 16-time World Champion John Cena returned to WWE after the main event in a jaw-dropping entry which sent shockwaves through the WWE Universe.

WWE Championship – Bobby Lashley vs Kofi Kingston: Bobby Lashley maintained his undefeated streak by crashing Kofi Kingston in a one-sided match. Kingston had the momentum in the beginning but Lashley dominated the match and forced the former champion to tap out after locking him in the ‘Hurt Lock’.

Universal Championship – Roman Reigns vs Edge: Reigns extended his run as the Universal Champion with the help of Rollins’ interruptions in the match. Both Roman Reigns and Edge had their opportunities but Rollins interruptions in the referee’s absence made the difference.
