New Delhi: After the victory in Barbados, the Indian T20I side has started its new journey under the captaincy of Suryakumar Yadav. To celebrate this new journey BCCI posted the first morning training session with Suryakumar Yadav on its official X (formerly Twitter) handle. Earlier, beating all rumours and speculations Suryakumar Yadav became the captain of the T20I side ahead of Hardik Pandya.

Surya-Gambhir relationship- the Mumbaikar share his time under GG
Speaking about the relationship with Gautam Gambhir, Suryakumar Yadav recalled the time he spent under the tutelage of Gambhir. “Yeh jo relationship hai, bahut special hai. Kyunki main jab 2014 me gaya tha, I played under him for KKR…” Surya was part of the successful KKR team which won the IPL trophy in 2014.
Surya was also quick to add that Gautam is someone who knows him in and out as he remarked “…Ki main kaise kaam karta hoon…” Furthermore, Surya reckons that the dynamic relationship that he has

With the start of a new journey for the India national team, the Surya-Gautam partnership is expected to play a major role outside the boundary ropes to help the India team grow in the T20 format in the coming years.
