Fadnavis had said that the reference against Savarkar will not be tolerated and asked how long the Shiv Sena is going to endure it.
Shouting slogans, the BJP MLAs rushed to the well of the House seeking implementation of aid to farmers. The Shiv Sena members, however, tried to snatch the placards from their hands leading to a ruckus in the Assembly.
Days after taking charge of Maha Chief Minister’s office, the Shiv Sena trained its guns on Fadnavis. Saamana article says that BJP should be prepared to sit in backyard for next 5 years.
Hegde had claimed that Fadnavis was made Maharashtra Chief Minister to prevent central funds worth Rs 40,000 crore, from being "misused" by the Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance of Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress.
A chief minister has access to around Rs 40,000 crore from the Centre. He knew if Congress-NCP-Shiv Sena government comes to power it would misuse funds meant for development, said Hegde
Uddhav took a jibe at Fadnavis over the collapse of BJP-Shiv Sena alliance after the former refused to accept Sena's demand for equal power-sharing in the new government.
"I welcome Devendra Fadnavis as the Leader of Opposition. We have been together from the past 25 years and I didn't expect this day to come," said Uddhav
"This session is unconstitutional and illegal. Appointment of Pro-tem Speaker was also unconstitutional," says Fadnavis
As soon as the House met for the day, pandemonium broke out in the House with the Opposition BJP creating ruckus and raising slogans against the Maha vikas Aghadi government.
On November 1, a magistrate's court had restored an application seeking criminal proceedings against Fadnavis for alleged non-disclosure.
