According to the Delhi Health Department, 179 people were discharged, while two succumbed to the virus in the past 24 hours.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) on Tuesday informed, "A total of 19,30,62,694 samples are tested for COVID-19 up to January 25. Of these, 7,25,577 samples were tested yesterday."

According to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of cases includes 1,69,451 active cases, 2,27,756 cured/discharged/migrated and 13,254 deaths.
The Joint Secretary said that India's fatality rate due to COVID-19 was much less than other countries with a high number of cases.
