Shah said that it had been the wish of generations of Indians to have a magnificent temple of Lord Ram in Ayodhya. "It will happen in four months," he said and accused Congress of having tried to delay the court verdict in the past.

The LJP chief assured that his party would take due care of the "worries" of Muslim, Dalit and deprived sections with respect to NRC.

Chief Minister Kejriwal has also stated that over 13,000 marshals have been appointed to ensure the safety of women in the buses plying across the national capital.

Khattar also took oath as Haryana Chief Minister for the second term after the recently concluded polls in the state. In the Assembly polls, BJP fell short of six seats to get a majority in 90-member Haryana Assembly.

Khattar along with Chautala had met Governor Satyadev Narayan Arya on Saturday and had staked the claim to form the government in the state.

Shiv Sena, on the other hand, bagged 56 seats in the elections. However, earlier this week, Thackeray raised questions over the chief minister's seat in the state.

Ajay Chautala and his father Om Prakash Chautala were convicted on January 16, 2013, by a Delhi court for illegally recruiting 3,206 junior basic teachers 12 years ago.

By-polls in five assembly constituencies were conducted in Bihar on October 21 which saw Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) winning two seats and Janata Dal (United) and AIMIM winning one seat each on Thursday.

The BJP won 17 seats less compared to its 2014 tally in Maharashtra. Shiv Sena and BJP fought the elections in an alliance and share power in the state.The BJP secured 105 seats, Shiv Sena 56, Congress 44 and the Nationalist Congress Party 54 in the 288-member assembly.

The 11-month old JJP won 10 seats in its debut assembly polls and its role can be crucial in formation of a government in Haryana as no party has got full majority.
