On September 4, the Ayodhya Development Authority (ADA) has handed over the approved design of the Ram Janmabhoomi temple being constructed in Ayodhya to the Ram Temple Trust.
The Attorney General's nod is a must before filing a contempt petition in the top court, under section 15 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, for initiating contempt proceedings against a person.
Notably, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Ayodhya on August 5 to take part in the 'Bhoomi pujan' at Ram Janambhoomi site.

President of Ram Mandir Trust Mahant Nitya Gopal Das, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Governor Anandiben Patel and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Chief Mohan Bhagwat were also present with him.
"Ram resides in our hearts and is an integral part of our lives. People should witness the power of Lord Ram. There were efforts made in various junctures of our history to erase our existence but Lord Ram prevails and is the basis of our culture," PM Modi said.
The Prime Minister performed 'sashtang pranam' (obeisances) in front of the Ramlalla idol in the temple premises.
"Original document of the Constitution of India has a beautiful sketch of Lord Ram, Mata Sita and Laxman returning to Ayodhya after defeating Ravan," Mr Prasad wrote on Twitter.
