New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday released commemorative postage stamps on Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir & also a book of stamps from across the world, featuring the deity Lord Ram.
The stamp depicting the essence of Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir, includes these components – i) the Ram Mandir, ii) Choupai ‘Mangal Bhavan Amangal Hari’, iii) Sun, iv) Saryu River, (v) Sculptures in and around the Temple
Releasing the stamps, PM Modi said in a video statement, ““Today, I got an opportunity to engage myself in another programme related to the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony. Today, six postage stamps dedicated to the Ram Temple were released. Besides, a book of stamps issued on Lord Ram around the world was also released.”
The stamp book is an attempt to showcase the international appeal of Shri Ram on various societies. This 48-page book covers stamps issued by more than of 20 countries including like US, New Zealand, Singapore, Canada, Cambodia and organisations like the UN.
