Delhi BJP President Manoj Tiwari, who is re-contesting from the North East Delhi Lok Sabha seat, held a massive roadshow in the capital on Saturday. Tiwari, who is pitted against Delhi Congress chief and three-time Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, and Aam Aadmi party's Dilip Pandey, kicked off the 15 km-roadshow from MIG flats in north-east Delhi to Loni road, covering areas like Shahadra, Jagatpuri and Mansarovar park.

I convey my greetings to all 'Chowkidars' across the nation who have joined this Main Bhi Chowkidar program: PM Modi at Main Bhi Chowkidar campaign.

On February 28, Chacko had met Dikshit and stressed the need for an alliance with the AAP, said a source. The source also said the AAP is willing to tie up with the Congress at least in Delhi, Haryana, and Punjab. However, a section of Congress leaders is not in favour of this, the source added.

“Manmohan Singh, yes, I agree with you, was not as strong as and as determined as he (Modi) is. But there is also a feeling that he is doing it all for politics,” the senior Congress leader said in an interview to Vir Sanghvi for CNN-News18 channel.

Kejriwal claimed his party tried persuading the Congress to forge an alliance, but it did not understand.“Congress (candidates) will lose their deposits in Delhi in Lok Sabha elections,” Kejriwal claimed.

Veteran Congress leader Sheila Dikshit has made it clear yet again that the Delhi unit of the Congress was not in a favour of an alliance with AAP ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
