New Delhi: Cupertino giant Apple is likely to integrate Google’s artificial intelligence called Gemini AI along with the ChatGpt which was announced at this year’s WWDC. The news was ratified by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. This will be the first time two of the largest tech giants- Apple and Google will engineer something together.

Apple had already announced quite a lot of ramifications for its operating system at the WWDC which will be integrated into the new iOS 18. Now, a potential partnership will add more spice to its operating systems. Interestingly, there were no official announcements from Apple at the official keynote announcement about this partnership.

However, in the post-event chatter, the officials confirmed that the company is looking for a possibility to collaborate with Google. Moreover, Apple is also looking to boost its iOS compatibility with more and more third-party AI systems. This will remove the huge inertia of compatibility that exists between Mac systems and Windows systems.
Apple in talks with Llama 3 and more…
However, it is not only the Gemini AI integration that will make the consumers jump out of their skin. The tech giants are also trying to bring in Meta and Anthropic under the same roof. In the latest newsletter of Gurman titled Power On, Apple is in talks to bring in ‘Llama 3’ which is Meta’s AI chatbot feature.
Llama 3 was recently pillaging the tech rumours after it was integrated into Whatsapp and Facebook. Added to that Apple is also looking to bring Anthropic’s Claude AI into its smartphones. This multi-party collaboration is a big step in Apple’s expansion into the AI domain.

However, these AI features might be delayed till the end of 2024 and the middle of 2025. Apple has said that these delays are unavoidable and are only done so that the company is fully assured before these features are launched in the market.
