As Tim Cook opens India’s 1st Apple store, B-Town celebs meet & greet the CEO; share pics & VIDEO

A couple of big names from Bollywood including Maduri Dixit, AR Rahman, Raveena Tandon, Mauni Roy, singer Arman Malik, Farah Khan Ali, all gathered at the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) location that is bound to emerge as major hotspot for phone lovers.

New Delhi: Much like the frenzy during launch of Apple iPhone’s new versions, similar mania gripped the fans & also Bollywood celebs as they made a beeline for India’s first Apple store ahead of its launch by the company CEO Tim Cook himself.

A couple of big names from Bollywood including Maduri Dixit, AR Rahman, Raveena Tandon, Mauni Roy, singer Arman Malik, Farah Khan Ali, all gathered at the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) location that is bound to emerge as major hotspot for phone lovers.

The B-Town celebs shared a moment of celebration of Apple iPhone store’s maiden store in the country and also congratulated CEO Tim Cook.

Videos of Apple CEO throwing open the store also went viral on social media. While India employees of Apple iPhone store shouted the countdown, CEO himself opened the door and welcome the first customer into the outlet.

Madhuri to Mouni, all share snap with Cook

The Bollywood celebrities also shared the ‘memorable’ meet with Tim Cook on their Instagram profile. Madhuri Dixit said, “there couldn’t have been a better welcome to Mumbai than Vada Pav”.

Apple’s 1st India store

Apple is opening two stores in India, one in Mumbai & other in Delhi. Today, first store located in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) was thrown open for public. The other store in Delhi will be inaugurated on April 2. This comes at a time when Apple is celebrating its 25th year of operation in the Indian sub-continent.

At these Apple stores, customers will get a first-hand experience of company’s wide range of products and also direct assistance related to service & other accessories.
