Battlegrounds Mobile India: Pre-registration begins today on Google Play Store
The battle royale game is expected give similar experience as its predecessor PUBG Mobile in most aspects. But a little change here and there can't be ruled out.
New Delhi: The wait is finally over for the mobile gamers across the country as the pre-registrations for Battlegrounds Mobile India went live on Tuesday, May18 as per the announcement made by Krafton last week.
The pre-registration started only for Android phone users on Tuesday. The company is yet to make an announcement regarding the game for iOS phone users, though the firm stated earlier that the game would be free to play for both platform users.
Battlegrounds Mobile India is the Indian version of its much loved predecessor PUBG Mobile is most likely to launch in June. The company also announced special rewards for players who pre-register in order to generate hype among fans.
According to Krafton, Battlegrounds Mobile India will release loaded with exclusive in-game events like outfits and features. The new game will also have its own e-sports ecosystem which consists of tournaments and leagues. The battle royale game is expected give similar experience as its predecessor PUBG Mobile in most aspects. But a little change here and there can’t be ruled out. Battlegrounds Mobile India shared a poster of the likely Ban Tai map location from Sanhok – one of the 4×4 maps available in-game. The map Sanhok was added to PUBG Mobile in 2018 and is now set to be a part of Battlegrounds Mobile India.
Indian government had banned PUBG in September, 2020 due to some privacy and national security concerns. The Battlegrounds Mobile India pre-registration link went live around 12 pm on Tuesday.
Users can pre-register after visiting the Pre-Register page on the Google Play Store:
- Search Battlegrounds Mobile India on Google PlayStore.
- Once the page opens click on the ‘Pre-register’ button
- After clicking on it the users will be eligible to collect their special rewards at the time of launch
Although an official launch date is yet to be announced, but recent reports suggest that Battlegrounds Mobile India could launch on June 10. Most importantly, before the launch, many fake APK links are doing rounds on the internet available online, users should avoid downloading the game through those links.
