Elon Musk vs Mark Zuckerberg: The Battle of Tech Titans Heats Up with Cage Match Challenge

Musk, known for his outspoken nature, took to Twitter to challenge his tech industry nemesis Mark Zuckerberg for a cage match.

New Delhi: The rivalry between tech giants Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg took an unexpected turn when Musk challenged Zuckerberg to a cage match. The playful exchange unfolded after news broke that Zuckerberg’s company, Meta, was planning to launch a Twitter competitor called Threads. Musk, known for his outspoken nature, took to Twitter to express his skepticism about Meta’s latest endeavor, sarcastically remarking that Earth can’t wait to be exclusively under Zuckerberg’s control.

As the conversation heated up, a Twitter user reminded Musk of Zuckerberg’s newfound interest in jiu-jitsu, a martial art that the Meta CEO has spoken about in the past. Undeterred, Musk boldly responded that he was up for a cage match with his tech industry nemesis.

Zuckerberg, ever the competitor, took to his Instagram story to respond to Musk’s challenge, urging him to “send location.” Alongside his message, Zuckerberg shared a screenshot of Musk’s tweet, showing his readiness to take on the eccentric entrepreneur in a physical showdown.

Unaware of Zuckerberg’s Instagram post, Musk later came across it when a Twitter user shared it on the platform. Intrigued by the Meta CEO’s response, Musk indicated his willingness to engage in the proposed cage match, expressing that if the Instagram post was indeed genuine, he would “do it.”

Adding to the exchange, Musk suggested the Vegas Octagon, a renowned venue for UFC fights, as the location for their potential showdown. In jest, he also mentioned his signature move called “The Walrus,” where he humorously described lying on top of his opponent and doing nothing.

This latest banter between Musk and Zuckerberg is not their first encounter. The two tech moguls have engaged in public spats before, trading jabs and taking digs at each other’s endeavors. Musk previously expressed mistrust in Meta-owned WhatsApp and labeled Zuckerberg a “copycat” for his plans to launch a Twitter rival.
