New Delhi: In the latest buzz around Google’s Gemini AI, the tech giant announced a major boost to its all-new AI update. According to Google, users of Gemini AI can now ratify the content which is generated by chatbots. This new feature of Gemini AI will allow users double-check any piece of information to check whether it is true or not.

Users while using the Gemini AI can see a toggle option right below any AI content generated which comes written as “double-check response.” Google has affirmed that this function is available both for the app and web versions of the Gemini AI.
AI chatbots are traditionally known to have generated inaccurate information which questions the credibility of the output. To increase this credibility factor, Google has initiated this ‘double-check’ policy in its AI update.

How will the “double-check” future help the users?
According to the company, the ‘double-check’ feature will allow the users to corroborate each content with the ‘Google search’ to see similar or different content.
To break it down for the readers, if any user searches for something, the Gemini AI will do in-text detection and classify the entire content under three colour coordinates. The text highlighted in green means that there is some similarity with online AI content. But here is the catch, the Gemini AI goes one step ahead to add links to similar content found online.

On the other hand, if the content is highlighted in Orange then it means that Google was unable to find any relevant content for the highlighted part. Lastly, if the text is in white or goes undetected then that means that there is no available source which is similar to that of the AI content.
