New Delhi: Google urged people to get vaccinated and wear face masks to save lives amid the coronavirus pandemic with a doodle. In the Google Doodle, all the alphabets of the name of the tech-giant are shown wearing masks. The letter 'e' at the end is a healthcare professional who inoculates the other letters. Once all the letters have received their COVID-19 vaccine shot, they raise their arms to urge everyone to get vaccinated. Everyone bursts into a celebration mode after getting the jab. "Get vaccinated. Wear a mask. Save lives," Google said about the doodle. Meanwhile, the Union Health Ministry on Monday said that more than 82.7 lakh vaccine doses, the highest in a single day, were administered across the country on Monday as the revised guidelines for COVID-19 vaccination came into effect. "Today's record-breaking vaccination numbers are gladdening. The vaccine remains our strongest weapon to fight COVID-19. Congratulations to those who got vaccinated and kudos to all the front-line warriors working hard to ensure so many citizens got the vaccine. Well done India!" Prime Minister Narendra Modi said.
