New Delhi: OnePlus has kicked off the year 2022 with the launch of OnePlus 9RT in India on Friday. The phone was unveiled at the company’s Winter Edition Launch event. The latest phone has been powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC and comes with a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup on the back. It will be available for purchase via Amazon and the company’s official website.

OnePlus 9RT specification and sale date:
OnePlus 9RT comes in two variants — 8GB LPDDR5 RAM + 128GB storage and a 12GB LPDDR5 RAM + 256GB storage. It is equipped with a 6.62-inch full-HD+ (1,080*2,400 pixels) Samsung E4 AMOLED display, supporting a refresh rate of 120Hz.
For the camera lovers, OnePlus has provided a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 16-megapixel to click Ultra-Wide Angle Camera, and a 2-megapixel for macro photography.
On the front side for selfie lovers, it is loaded with a 16-megapixel shooter.
It runs on Android 11 that is paired with the company’s OxygenOS 11 skin on top. Reportedly, OnePlus has provided ”space cooling” technology and a larger heat sink that will help heavy users and those who play more games.
The phone will go on sale on January 17 at 12 pm IST, according to the company.

Under the hood, the new OnePlus 9RT is equipped with a 4,500mAh battery that supports a 65W USB Type-C charger. Moreover, it comes with 5GB, 4GB LTE, Wi-fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2 connectivity, and GPS/A-GPS and NFC support.
One can choose the colours of the OnePlus 9RT between Hacker Black, Nano Silver. Notably, the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant comes at a cost of Rs 42,999. The flagship version of the phone has been priced at Rs 46,999.
