New Delhi: OnePlus Open Apex- “RED” edition has stormed the tech market of India in August. The latest edition of the OnePlus Open comes one year after the smartphone giant decided to enter the ‘flip and fold’ market.

The latest OnePlus Open Apex edition features a VIP Mode which is activated when the alert slider is moved to the topmost position. This privacy feature has ramped up the way privacy features in the phone. The new feature will allow blocking the access to camera and microphones when not in use.
OnePlus Open Apex- Product Specifications
The OnePlus Open Apex Edition runs on the Android-14 OxygenOS 14. It has a big 7.82-inch 2K Flexi-Fluid LTPO 3.0 AMOLED on the inside. On the outer side, the phone comes with a 6.31-inch 2K LTPO 3.0 Super Fluid AMOLED cover screen. The screen size remains the same from the last edition and the customers will find no difference in the same.
Coming to the processor, the OnePlus Apex comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC with 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB UFS 4.0. Added to this, the phone also has a ‘virtual RAM’ which extends up to 12GB.
Coming to the camera setup, the Apex edition comes with the same triple-camera setup (powered by Haddleblad) that was there in the OnePlus Open. The primary camera is 48MP with a Sony Lytia LYT-808 sensor. Along with this, there is also a 64MP wide-angle camera with 3x Optical zoom and 6x in-sensor zoom. Finally, to top it up the camera setup also has a 48MP ultra-wide camera with a Sony IMX581 sensor.

The price of the OnePlus Open Apex Edition is set at Rs 1,49,999 for the 16GB RAM + 1TB storage. The Apex edition is priced at 10k more than the normal edition (OnePlus Open was priced at Rs 1,39,999).
