Report says, iPhone 14 to have same A15 chipset as iPhone13

LeaksApplePro also told that the company did the same thing with S6 and S7 as they were the same chips with the same identifiers.

New Delhi: The upcoming iPhone 14 is expected to have the same A15 chip as its predecessor iPhone 13. As many rumours and leaks regarding iPhone 14 are being talked about, its performance has constantly been questioned.

An industry insider LeaksApplePro said that the company is fixed about using a year-old chip which the used in iPhone 13. However, Apple will be calling it A16. On the other hand, it is expected that iPhone 14 Pro has the real A16 and it will be called A16 Pro. The tipster has claimed that the differences in both the chips include 42% CPU and 35% GPU speed increases.

However, according to Apple Track, the firm will be using the older chipset in the upcoming iPhone 14, but it will still be faster than its predecessor. According to the tipster, “A new cellular modem and internal design changes are said to be responsible for the improvements.”

LeaksApplePro also told that the company did the same thing with S6 and S7 as they were the same chips with the same identifiers. Though it is not expected to harm the sales of the upcoming product, it might undermine the user’s confidence over time.
