Sales for Xiaomi’s ‘Redmi Pad’ begins in India: Know price and features here

New Delhi: Redmi has launched its first tablet ‘Redmi Pad’ in India. This tab comes in three variants – 3GB+64GB, 4GB+128GB and 6GB+128GB. Its 3 GB RAM variant costs Rs 14,999 and 4 GB RAM variant costs Rs 17,999. Though, for its 6 GB RAM variant, you will have to spend Rs 19,999.

The company has launched the tablet in Graphite Grey, Mint Green, and Moonlight Silver color options, while its sale started on October 5. Apart from Flipkart, consumers will be able to buy it from mi.com and Mi Home Stores. Users who buy the tablets under legitimate bank offers will also get a discount of 10 percent.

Features and Specifications

The company is offering a 10.61-inch WXUGA+ display with 2000×1200 pixels resolution in the tablet. This display comes with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The aspect ratio of the pad is 15: 9 and its peak brightness level is 400 nits. The thickness of the tab is 7.05mm and its bezels are also quite thin.

MediaTek Helio G99 chipset has been given in this tab with up to 6 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of internal storage.

Apart from that, the tab further comes with 8 megapixel rear and 8-megapixel front camera. Weighing 465 grams, this tab has an 8000mAh battery. This battery supports 18W fast charging. The retail box with the pad consists a 22.5W charger.

This tab works on MIUI 13 operating system based on Android 12. The pad supports micro SD cards up to 1TB. For connectivity, options like Bluetooth 5.3, and Wi-Fi 5 have been given in it. A quad-speaker system has been given in it for a quality sound experience.
