Who created wordle?
It is reported that wordle was invented by a former employee at the social news website Reddit, Josh Wardle. He said he never imagine that his idea will garner so much popularity. ”Since launching Wordle, I have been in awe of the response from everyone that has played,” he wrote in a tweet.

Notably, Josh no longer owns the rights of the game. The rights of Wordle was bought by The New York Times in early 2022. Ever since wordle has started gaining more attention of people.
