Nagarjuna’s rumored ex-lover Tabu replies to the actor’s son Naga’s social media post, Netizens react

New Delhi: Telugu actor and producer Nagarjuna Akkineni and Bollywood actress Tabu were reportedly in a relationship for almost 10 years. Recently the actress was seen commenting on an Instagram post featuring her rumoured ex-boyfriend.

On Father’s Day, Nagarjuna’s son, Naga Chaitanya shared an old photo of himself with his dad. In the picture the actor was spotted wearing a stripped shirt paired with an aviator-shaped sunglass while posing for a candid shot. Adding a caption to the post, Chaitanya wrote, “The OG.”

‘I have nothing to hide about her’ Nagarjuna spoke about his relationship with Tabu

The relationship between Nagarjuna and Tabu was never confirmed by either of them. In the meantime, the Aakhari Poratam fame talked about his relationship with the actress in an interview with Times of India in 2017.

He said, “Yes, Tabu is a fantastic friend of mine. Our friendship goes way back since I was 21 or 22 and she was just 16 years old. That’s like almost half a lifetime… About our friendship, whatever is said is less. I have nothing to hide about her. When you mention her name, my face lights up… (laughs). It is as simple as that. Now, when I say things like that if you want to read into it, then it’s your point of view… To me, she is a beautiful person and a beautiful friend. She always will be.”

Nagarjuna and Tabu have shared screens in two Telugu movies named Ninne Pelladatha(1996) and Aavida Maa Aavide(1998). Aavida Maa Aavide is a rom-com movie directed by EVV Satyanarayana. On the other hand, Ninne Pelladatha is a promising family drama that received the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in 1996. The award-winning movie was produced by Nagarjuna and directed by Krishna Vamsi.
