New Delhi: The Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) stated on Thursday that there will be no fines for not wearing a face mask in the national capital. The decision comes as the number of COVID-19 infection cases in the city has steadily decreased in recent weeks. “There will be no fee currently for not wearing face masks in public places considering a significant drop in the number of new COVID-19 cases in the national capital,” DDMA officials stated at a press conference led by Lieutenant Governor (L-G) Anil Baijal.
